 75mm Pot Magnet with Eyebolt

Pot magnets with Eyebolt are powerful mounting magnets. These magnetic assemblies are built with N35 neodymium disc magnets embedded in a steel pot. The steel casing creates a strong vertical magnetic pull force (especially on a flat iron or steel surface), concentrating the magnetic force and directing it to the contact surface.

High in magnetic strength for their small size, neodymium pot magnets are ideal for all types of applications where high strength magnets are required. They are often used for heavy duty holding, mounting, and fixing purposes in workstations, classrooms, offices, warehouses, for pop displays, as retrieval magnets and more.

Pros and cons:

-Plated with a triple layer of Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel+Copper+Nickel) based process for   maximum protection against corrosion & oxidation.

-Best power to weight ratio of all magnets.
-High resistance to demagnetization.

-The mild steel casing protects the magnet from damage.

-Magnetism starts to decrease (and can be permanently lost) at 80°C. (This depends on the handling of magnets.)
-Low corrosion resistance. (If the plating is damaged)
-Will rust when exposed to wet elements.
-Brittle (May break, crack, or chip upon sudden collisions with other magnets or metals.)
-Drilling magnets causes magnet to shatter. (Do not drill magnets as friction can cause fire / explosion due to flammable material.)
-Often higher cost choice

Applications of Pot Magnets:

Fishing for lost objects
Hanging items
Mounting article, used in point of sale displays, false ceilings, light fixtures and fittings and general holding applications
Hobby and leisure
